Wow. More than 400 people came out to support our work last night. We're still finalizing the numbers, but we raised tens of thousands of dollars to finance our programs for the next year! Thank you! Read more after the jump.

While our appreciation to all of you for the success of the anniversary gala is boundless, we would like to bring special attention to the specific donations of certain noteworthy individuals and businesses below.
Gala Accommodations
The Jivamukti Yoga Center graciously hosted LOHV-NYC’s anniversary bash. The Center is a lovely, serene and inspirational space. We hope all our guests enjoyed the Center’s environment, its hospitality and vitality, as much as we do. A tremendous thanks goes to Carlos Menjivar, the Center’s Managing Director, who massively assisted LOHV-NYC with the organization and operation of the event, and to the Center’s staff members who worked alongside us.
For newcomers to the Jivamukti Yoga School, the Jivamukti method is a style of Yoga created by the School’s owners David Life and Sharon Gannon in 1984. It is a vigorously physical and intellectually stimulating practice leading to spiritual awareness. Treat yourself and learn more – www. jivamuktiyoga.com
