Ask your U.S. Representative to join the Congressional Friends of Animals Caucus!Your help is needed to increase membership in the Congressional Friends of Animals Caucus. This effort is aimed to increase caucus membership and then invigorate the caucus into an effective forum to advance animal protection legislation before Congress. The caucus is bipartisan and headed by co-chairmen Christopher Shays (R-CT), pictured at right, and Tom Lantos (D-CA), both long-time supporters of animal protection legislation. Congressmen Shays and Lantos have already sent a letter to all members of Congress asking members to join the caucus. To reinforce their efforts, representatives need to hear from you.
How You Can Help
- Contact your U.S. Representative and ask him/her to join the caucus. If you do not know who your Representative is, go to the House website and in the top left there is a place to enter your zip code.
- Circulate this memo to your friends!
