Save the date for LOHV-NYC's winter membership meeting

Save the date! LOHV-NYC's winter membership meeting will be held on January 16th, 2007! Get involved in taking political action for animals and make new friends at this action-packed meeting and activist gathering.

LOHV-NYC's soon-to-be-released 2006 City Council Humane Scorecard -- covering humane education, the pets in housing bill and more -- will be available at the meeting. Other agenda items: filling City Council vacancies in Brooklyn and Staten Island; the latest news on the LOHV-NYC/Farm Sanctuary/HSUS campaign to ban the sale of foie gras in NYC; preparing for the return of Ringling Bros. Circus and our fight to pass Intro. 389; humane education in the South Bronx; helping the horses abused by the carriage industry; and much more. Some light food will be provided. Speakers TBA. Don't miss out! There is no charge to attend this event.
